Not sure if it works but someones going around saying if you get deleted contact staff and ket them know via email and they usually bring your stuff back
This is true (though I know people who have been deleted thanks to false reports and never got their accounts restored) but more than that, if there’s a known issue going on don’t you think a decent website would actually TELL ITS USER BASE WHATS HAPPENING or try to assuage fears in some way
ugh, i don’t know how to deal with this shit. yeah its just a blog but i’ve had it for 7 years. theres so many people i would not be able to find otherwise if my account got deleted. i wouldn’t be able to keep chatting with you guys and talking about my fics. and since no one knows whats going on or what the fuck tumblr is doing its just anxiety inducing. worrying about if ill randomly get targeted

i would recommend if you post a lot of explicit stuff to backup your blog just in case
its at the bottom of the settings where you change your header and icon, it should say “export tumblr”
