i was feeling vasquez could either be the chief or some underling who just has it out for rhys. but yeah i figure either way he would plant information to lead rhys into trouble and get him trapped in a dangerous situation. and jack has to figure out wtf happened to rhys and go in and bail him out…

Honestly for Mob Jack and Detective Rhys I’m such a sucker for the “seductive type enters detective office and sensually lights cigar/cigarette often to blow it in the face of the detective” in noir settings. I don’t know how or why Mob Boss Jack would enter Rhys’ office, but maybe that could work somewhere?

well idk how jack would come into rhys’ office but i can think of quite a few scenarios that would end up with rhys coming into jack’s office…rhys investigating or rhys being captured for snooping around and brought in to meet the big boss. but jack is just entertained by this spunky lil dude and blows his fancy cigar smoke in his face

Jack: scotch on the rocks (or straight) or cheap beer that he can just slam one after another. When hes in a weird mood he’ll crack open a bottle of dry red wine. Rhys: also shitty beer but hes got a taste for fruity and candy drinks like sex on the beach or anything with triple sec I think he also wants to try eccentric drinks like absinthe. He can hold his whiskey but prefers something sweeter. For unwinding I think he likes rose or white wine.

Well I definitely think maybe he and Jack are out drinking for some reason or another, something where there’s an opportunity for someone to slip him something. Jack notices Rhys is acting strange, figures something must have happened. When he starts grasping at Jack and acting unlike himself he figures out whats up and gets Rhys out of there before any other alphas notice

Since it’s just a heat drug, tho, maybe Jack would be able to help Rhys by using his hand or his mouth…I have different plans for their first time doing the whole full-on knotting sex

Yeah I figured something like that, I like the idea of it being on Hyperion turf because Rhys would be extra uncomfortable with the idea of going into heat in enemy territory. Not that he would have a choice if he were drugged. Thankfully Jack manages to get Rhys into a relatively safe place, though now he has to think about what to do with him….

It’s probably another step in their relationship though. I can’t decide if they would have sex or not, though, because I have different ideas about their first time in this AU…
