It’s always funny to see the kind of waste customers care about…like oh no straws but if you accidentally warm up their muffin it’s inedible, you have to throw it out and get them a new one

I feel like food waste has been sensationalized like plastic waste has but. They don’t seem to see it as much

idk if you could ever replicate the experience of playing vanilla wow…like im not a master of mmorpgs by any means but there really was a sense of exploration and wonder and mystery. it legit felt like a big vast world full of secrets and danger which was always fun

also for the dragon au i imagine a scenario in which rhys absorbs too much magic or it gets out of control or something and jack has to calm him down, drain enough of the magic from rhys’ so he gets stable, doesn’t tear his physical form apart and well…the best way is lip to lip contact ;0

starfruitspice replied to your postall right but after a few months of living…

Jack cant even begin to describe the absolute blinding rage he felt at Rhys getting taken and being injured, but Rhys doesnt make him. Actions speak louder than words. Maybe shortly after Rhys has healed he gives jack a little kiss and a soft thank you. Not wanting to be caught with Feelings, jack laughs it off with a lewd joke abt how heros should get better rewards than kisses

oooh yes. and even though jack blows it off rhys can tell his heart isnt as into it as it used to be. he can tell something is different between them, tho thats not necessary a bad thing. they’re getting closer and more intimate (and what if rhys also feels his own magic getting stronger with their deeper bond…)

all right but after a few months of living together, dragon rhys gets kidnapped by hunters while out practicing his magic on a calm winter morning

unlike jack’s rough scales, rhys’ are smooth and pretty and luminescent, so that makes him an easy target for people looking to harvest magical creatures

they lock him in special bindings and maybe even a muzzle, designed so that he cant’ use his magic in addition to just physical strength

they take him far away before making camp and beginning to rip off his scales, but they only get a few before the ground sudden rumbles violently, so much so that the trees around tremble and a couple almost fall

next moment there’s a roar so loud the hunters almost white out, followed by the sudden, blazing appearance of a massive black dragon that melts the snow before it even lands on his body, and before they can even think to fight back theyre incinerated

jack crushes rhys’ bonds under his hands and carries him back to the lair, holding him close and suddenly aware of how much he’s come to care for this drake since they’d been living together…rhys is more than just an apprentice or a tool now

and then rhys spends the next few days in bed being healed and allowed to just rest and relax in safety as jack’s covered everything in sight with protective runes
