I can imagine:
It’s Winter and Rhys let the heater run while he was at work, so his place is more than toasty when he comes back. So he’s in a lazy summer shirt and shorts taking a nap on top of a pile of sheets while he’s waiting for the temperature to go back down. Right when Jack comes in and immediately has to throw everything he’s wearing off because it’s “too f*cking hot for this sh*t!” And Rhys wakes up when Jack tosses his fur hat on him (probably on accident).

imagining rhys’ shitty bf coming home in the neighbors AU and smelling another alpha on rhys which leads to an argument that jack hears through the walls, and is on his way over (probably has a key to rhys’ place at this point too) just in time to see rhys get backhanded, his bf’s ring cutting into his cheek enough to draw blood

ive been reading too much of this comic and now i want rhys in the neighbors au to have had a shitty dad who said he was just dumb and pretty and would end up just getting knocked up 

and he ends up seeing his dad out and about with jack and freaks out because he doesn’t want to prove him right…jack just grabs him and shields him, covers him in his scent so he dad doesn’t notice. takes him to the backseat of his car, someplace secluded and just rubs his back and comforts him, makes sure he calms down and jacks just like shit

there’s more assholes in rhys’ life he has to deal with
