The problem with fanfic is that it’s not about You, the author, as an individual creator, the only draw you have is the characters and their dynamic that you temporarily inhabit

I guess I just really don’t care about writing fanfic right now because of the fact that someone could bullshit 500 words of a popular pair and get five times the recognition than anything I’d work hard on
So I’m not motivated to work on anything because like, what’s the point
